November & December 2002, Franz Arnold and Steven White
visited 6 different countries throughout Asia. The purpose of this
trip was twofold, firstly to promote the new products
and secondly to promote AAVs in general. The Studor
team, in partnership with the distributor for each
country, hosted seminars for groups of engineers, architects and
plumbers. Of particular importance for this region was the introduction
of the P.A.P.A. which, in conjunction with the other
products, provides the full solution to venting multi-storey
buildings. It was very refreshing to see that the Asian construction
industry is actively seeking new technology and practices in their
solutions for building drainage.

October 2002, one of the largest banking groups in Australasia
is refitting one of their corporate towers in Melbourne, Australia.
Over 19 floors in the ANZ Tower, one of the twin 33 storey buildings
on the Collins Place site, is being renovated with improved staff
amenities – varying from a simple kitchenette in some areas to a
full bar area in others. When tendering for the job, the plumbing
contractors nominated the use of STUDOR Mini-Vents for the
venting requirements of all the sinks and basins. The go-ahead for
use of the STUDOR Mini-Vents was given following a meeting
in which Marc Williams ( Area Manager Victoria/South
Australia) demonstrated the cost saving in labour and material.
The fact that the STUDOR Mini-Vents are the only item in
the whole refit to offer a lifetime guarantee also helped! The project
should be finished before Christmas 2002.

October 2002, once again AAVs have been recognised for
their
reliability and ability to cope with peak demands. Mini-Vents
have been installed in the WIN Stadium at Wollongong, NSW Australia -

of the key advantages of using AAVs is that no roof penetrations
are necessary. Using technology facilitates a smooth roof design
as envisaged by the architect, and demonstrated in the photograph below.
