The Chem-Vent is the world’s first chemical resistant AAV designed specifically for chemical and acid waste laboratory systems - such as those found in hospitals, schools, pharmaceutical manufacturing and other specialist applications. It is manufactured from chemical resistant and field-tested flame retardant polypropylene (PP) material. Provided with a 40mm thread, this specialist AAV results in great savings by reducing the need for expensive chemical resistant vent piping, as well as improving performance of specialised acid waste systems!

Capacity: 1.1 litres/second at -250 Pa (10 Pa = 1mm water gauge)

The Installation

The Chem-Vent is ideally suited for installation underneath the appliance, such as a sink or basin. It must be installed in a vertical position in an accessible location which permits free movement of air into the valve. No tools are required for installation - the Chem-Vent is simply hand-tightened.

The Connection

The Chem-Vent is supplied with a 40mm thread and is suitable for connection to any of the traditional and new generation material pipes.
