General Installation Guidelines
 
·  Ensure that you follow your Local Building / Plumbing Regulations;
 
· Suggested installation locations are:
under a sink or basin; on the vent horn of a WC pan; in attic spaces; in a plumbing duct; in a suspended ceiling; in a vented recess box within a wall; externally 150mm above ground level;
 
·  In buildings with multiple stacks where an open vent is required, it is recommended that this be located on the stack nearest the building’s sewer
connection;
 
·  Septic tank systems require at least one main vent to extend to the open air;
 

 

 

Installation of the Mini-Vent
the Mini-Vent must be:

 

 

   
  ·  Accessible and fitted vertically;
   
  ·  protected from extreme temperatures
(-20ºC to +60ºC) using the upper half of the packaging;
   
  ·  fitted in a position which permits free  movement of air to the valve;
   
  ·  installed 100mm above the horizontal waste;
   
·  installed 150mm above the insulation in attic installations;
 
· installed after the drainage system has been tested.
 

 

Installation of the Maxi-Vent
the Maxi-Vent must be:

 

 

 
· accessible and fitted vertically;
 
· protected from extreme temperatures
(-20ºC to +60ºC) using the upper half of the packaging;
 
· fitted in a position which permits free movement of air to the valve;
 
· installed 150mm above the insulation in attic installations;
 
· installed after the drainage system has been tested.
 

 

Installation of the Combi-Siphon
the Combi-Siphon Plus must be:
 
· accessible and fitted vertically;
 
· fitted in a position which permits free movement of air to the valve;
 
· installed 100mm above the horizontal waste;
 
· not installed where extreme temperatures prevail;
· installed after the drainage system has been tested;
