18 June 2016 - Brighton, UK

At the start line - from left to right: Stephen Taylor, Tom Gale, Michael Chang, Margaret Burns, Daniel Rath, Steve White

At 9am, 6 members of “Team Studor” finally crossed the start line of the 54 mile legendary London to Brighton Bike Ride 2017. With riders of all abilities, from complete novices through to those who wouldn't be phased by the thought of even a 100 mile ride, it proved a challenge for the team to continue to ride together as a pack. As a result, the finish times varied considerably as each individual rode to their own ability – with the first one crossing the finish line at 1.30pm and the last one battling through at 5.30pm. Amazing determination, especially in the soaring heat of 30+ degrees centigrade!

Signing-up for the event was driven by the quest for improving personal fitness/health, combined with the desire to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation. So far the team has raised £603, with £403 of this having been raised by Margaret Burns – well done Margaret!

It’s not too late to donate – if you, your family, your friends or colleagues have been touched in any way by heart health issues then please do give generously to “Team Studor’s” Just Giving page, where all money raised will go to the British Heart Foundation:

Well done to everyone in “Team Studor” on this fantastic achievement!
