    Taking place annually on 23 June, and initially launched in 2014 as "National Women in Engineering Day" to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the Women's Engineering Society, this day of recognition has now been rebranded as "International Women in Engineering Day (INWED)".

    2017 celebrates the first day of the event being truly international.

    INWED: An "international awareness campaign to raise the profile of women in engineering and focus on the amazing career opportunities available to girls in this exciting industry.”

    At Studor we place a very high value on the establishment of standards and over the years Studor has worked closely with international standards organisations to introduce and update product standards relevant to the Studor product range - work we continue with on an ongoing basis.

  • 19 October 2017

    The most important annual gathering of senior management across the plumbing sector, ‘Plumbing Meets Parliament’, will take place on October 19 at Parliament House in Canberra.The event will provide members of the plumbing sector, including suppliers, resellers, contractors, regulators and various associations, the opportunity to make contact with Federal Ministers who have jurisdiction across portfolios that affect the plumbing sector in some way.
     
    Different representatives of government will make presentations and gain feedback from the sector, providing a great networking opportunity.

    The CTBUH has officially launched its 2017 Conference: Connecting the City: People, Density & Infrastructure. The event will take place from 30 October – 3 November in Sydney, Australia, a city with a 230-year history in urban development that finds itself at the nexus of much of the current debate about cities: density vs. suburbanization; modernity vs. historical preservation; infrastructure vs. urban life; the high- vs. low-rise realms.   • 11 to 13 September 2019

    The 12th WPC triennial Conference (WPC 2019) will be held in Melbourne, Australia.

    The Conference will be hosted by the Plumbing Industry Climate Action Centre (PICAC). When the announcement was made that they had been successful in their drive to host the event, Shayne La Combre, CEO of PICAC stated “given the important work of plumbers and the contribution plumbing systems make to our community health and amenity, can there be a more important and vital gathering than the World Plumbing Conference? Melbourne and PICAC will strive to highlight this on a world stage in 2019.”
