The World Plumbing Council launches its Research Database
The World Plumbing Council announced the launch of their "WPC Research Database", which "provides users with the opportunity to investigate what is happening around the [globe] with regard to research efforts into plumbing and water-related issues; it is a resource for all interested parties to learn about industry-related research programs that have been completed or are in progress."

Studor was honoured to attend the second National Drainage Congress for the first time as a member of the group. The Congress meeting is a huge event, to which all top drainage experts and engineers in the industry are invited. The expertise of Studor (a commercial member of the group) in the area of drainage ventilation is recognised by many experts in the drainage field due to activities of the past 10 years in China and nearly 40 years internationally.

Studor Australia headed off on a deep sea fishing charter 70 kilometres off the Darwin coast in the Arafura sea, with 10 people enjoying a great day of fishing hosted by Greg Hill of Brassware Agencies NT (Studor’s agent for the Northern Territory).

The importance of knowledge: industry recognition for Studor Daniel Rath was invited to talk to a select group of engineers and inspectors in Aveiro, covering European design standards (EN12056-1 and EN12056-2), the importance of ventilation, the issue of pressure balance, reaction time and Point of Need concepts.
